Yesterday's presentation practically concluded a major information campaign, with respect to the project of activities with the
community, which in the past years were carried out in our country.

The aim of the presentation under the title "NATO's new strategic concept" is to provide relevant and accurate information on what NATO is and what it represents, as well as what NATO represents for BiH, and what the benefits of membership are for BiH.

"We visited 63 municipalities on the territory of Republika Srpska, we were in every canton in the Federation, universities in BiH, military installations, and some high schools. Our goal wasn't only to provide information, but to include ourselves in an active debate, a discussion on what is the best security arrangement for BiH in the future", Olsen said.

In the coming year, how long this campaign ran, through which more than 15,000 BiH citizens came to learn about the political and military aspects of NATO, the 'Partnership for Peace' program, the progress achieved by BiH and demands that are placed before the state institutions of BiH on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration.

"I won't just look at how BiH has advanced in this integration process, but I will also say how the situation in Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, with regards to all these countries in the region that still aren't member states of NATO", Olsen said.

"Membership in NATO is the first step for BiH to the European Union. Returning to our past, which we don't remember so fondly, but which we must remember, in partnership with NATO I see security, a stable and solid peace", Sarajevo Canton Premier Fikret Music said.
