Frivolous and irresponsible SDP decision triggers political crisis

The SDP's decision on the request for dismissal of members of the SDA in the Council of Ministers, as well as the termination of the coalition at other levels, though previously announced, was a surprise for the Party of Democratic Action (SDA).

The SDA believes that with such a frivolous and irresponsible decision, SDP caused a political crisis at all levels of government, which directly harms the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.

"It is illogical and inappropriate to require the exclusion of SDA from the Council of Ministers because the SDA opposes the budget reduction of 1.028 million KM to 950 million, and then freezing of the state budget for the next three years which is not sufficient for the functioning of the institutions of the State, while also agreeing to increase the budget of the entity," the SDA announced.

"Insisting on the abrogation of the coalition at the level where it is working successfully suggests that the true reason for such behavior by the SDP is not the SDA's position on acceptance of such a budget for BiH institutions."
