Let's be better people
Chairman of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic sent a most sincere message of congratulations on the occasion of Eid, the date marking the end of the Ramadan holy month, to Muslims in BiH, Sandzak, and in the diaspora.
"Eid gatherings and worship encourage us to be better people, to care more for one another, and together, strengthened by this new energy, let us build a society of prosperity and security for all BiH citizens," Izetbegovic's message reads.
Joy of true believers
Member of the BiH Presidency Zeljko Komsic sent his congratulations to Reis ul-ulema Mustafa ef. Ceric and all citizens of the Islamic faith in BiH, saying that Eid is the joy of all true believers and people of good intentions, inspiring the renewal of love, faith, peace-building, and incentive for establishing better relationships between people.
"I wish you peace, health, and happiness, in rising healthy spirits and love of the spiritual holidays," read congratulations from RS Prime Minister Aleksandr Dzombic, who sent a message to Banja Luka Mufti Edhem Camdzic, imams and Muslims around RS. Dzombic wished that the holiday would be extra motivation for fostering good relations between peoples and nations, regardless of their religious or ethnic background.
On the occasion of the forthcoming holiday, British Prime Minister David Cameron expressed gratitude to those Muslims who contributed to the success of the Olympic Games in London - from those who, he said, volunteered during the Games and provided the guests a warm welcome to their country; to members of our armed forces who helped guarantee our security, and those medalists who won a place in the hearts of the nation.
Forgiveness and mercy
"We ask Allah to accept your good deeds, prayers and fasting, to seal the month of Ramadan with forgiveness, grace, and exemption from the fire, to give benedictions, accuracy, and success in this world and in the hereafter. Eid Mubarak," reads the congratulations from
