There is still segregation and discrimination in BiH schools
In BiH there are still numerous examples of segregation and discrimination in schools, British Ambassador in BiH Nigel Casey said during a meeting with Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs Denisa Sarajlic - Malagic and a delegation of British parliamentarians.
The British parliamentary delegation was interested in the situation in education in BiH, and Sarajlic pointed out that education is the responsibility of entities and cantons and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, as part of its responsibilities an coordination role in education, makes every effort to make progress in this area.
She informed guests from Great Britain of the responsibilities of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, specially in areas important for BiH to join the EU, a Ministry of Civil Affairs spokesman stated. The BiH Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs rated that putting BiH on the white Schengen list would mean a great relief to BiH citizens.
She pointed out the fact that visas for BiH citizens to entrance in Great Britan are still needed, and she expressed expectation that by BiH's progress towards EU, the introduction of benefits for travel to this country would be ensured.
